Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation instituted the following awards
Mahaveer Awards in 1995 to recognise the selfless services done by individuals and institutions for welfare of needy and poor.
Dr. Nemichand Jain Memorial Awards in 2004 to honour journals propagating non-violence and vegetarianism and teachings of Bhagwan Mahaveer.
Mahaveer Award for Essays in 2016 to acquaint the younger generation with the teachings of Bhagwan Mahaveer and spread the universal principle of harmonious and peaceful co-existence.
